Typically a friendly staff here. They get very busy during peak dinner hours/days but they hold down the fort pretty well. I’d give the service here an 8.
There’s a good rice-to-fish ratio here. I would like to see a little less rice but it’s not too much. First bite: yellow tail; tangy, sweet & delicious – I like the addition of the scallion on top. The scallop had a Japanese dressing on it (started with an m) and was topped with tobiko – yum! The tuna was a quality cut. I love my tuna and was not disappointed.
I was also talked into trying the Toro as it is in and in good season, which I saved one piece of for my last bite. The Toro was dressed with a little scallion and some more Japanese dressing. The fatty flavor was so good and sat pleasantly in my mouth for a while.
