Green Tea Sushi Japanese Restaurant

Green Tea

I’ve been here seeral times before. The first time, I got my standard Nigiri/Sashimi and I was not disappointed. As a matter of fact, that’s when I fell for Green Tea.

This time I ordered an Alaskan (their version is smoked salmon and avocado) hand roll. One of my hand roll peeves is the lack of non-rice ingredients toward the bottom. This was not the case; the smoked salmon went almost all the way to the bottom – there was just enough rice in the end to prevent the salmon from escaping. And the Dynamite roll – spicy crunchy tuna inside with salmon, yellowtail, avocado and tuna on top.

I also got their Miso soup and, although it wasn’t necessarily unique or hearty (e.g., lots of seaweed or tofu), it was rich with Miso paste; which, for me, is the star of the show and I appreciate that.
